Seeds, which require a period of cold temperatures, usaully 4-6 weeks. These seeds are best sown outdoors in autumn (September -October) or early spring (until March), so that they can still receive a natural cold period. Otherwise you should cold-treat the seeds at about 5°C, e.g. put them in a baggie with moist sand and store it in the vegetable drawer of your fridge for 4-6 weeks. Then take out the seeds and sow them on normal seeding compost (which is low in nutrients).
